North Shore Art Academy

This site is an information and promotion vehicle for an independent art academy. The need to address changing curriculum along with galleries that are being updated with current art samples, made this an ideal candidate for the WordPress framework. The clients is able to make updates and changes with moderate training at their convenience. This theme required custom CSS and PHP to achieve the final design.


Finagle A Bagel

As a companion to their retail website, Finagle A Bagel needed a new site to promote their growing wholesale business. Featured on the homepage as well as in their own section are custom video content "webisodes" produced by their agency. The WordPress framework was an ideal solution to use because it address their need for future blogging as well as client-side managed updates. This theme required custom CSS and PHP to achieve the final design.


KeyWifi

KeyWifi is an emerging company that facilitates Wifi sharing. One of the challenges with this project, was to design the user interface for the online application as well as the marketing website. While appealing to those who are tech savvy, the design also needed to capture the attention of the average internet user and present instructions and content in a clear and unequivocal manner. Currently scheduled for a launch in late summer, this is their pre-launch site.


Neuroasis

Design of a Joomla framework site for the practice of Dr. Anthony Geraci, neurologist. Departing from the conventional approach that most medical themed website take, the style of Neuroasis focuses on key branding element that are at the center of Dr. Geraci's vision—the merging of neurology, physiotherapy and wellness. In this scenario, the Joomla template needed extensive style modification after the final design was selected.


Milton Point Sweets

This project involved developing a site from a single landing page. There was an advantage working with a brand that had it's graphic style established through it's packaging. We were able to come up with a design very quickly, that represented them online. This allowed for a less stressful production schedule, gave us some extra time to make corrections and deal with bugs and issues, and go live just as the holiday season got underway.


Trigger Trakker (php demo)

As this project develops from it's demo phase to live application, the challenge as the designer has been to keep the pages uncluttered as the user interface grows with added content. In addition, my role as front-end developer has been very rewarding. Solving the issues of time-stamps, pop calendars, slider functions and toggled display views, has given me a renewed view of JavaScript. Watch out AJAX, your next!
