Bliss Spa - promotion video

This video was produced in flash, then transferred to a DVD that can be viewed in various place at the spa facilities. Each segment was conceptualized separately and then combined into one long video that loops. Working in smaller sections with the creative director, we were able to make modifications quickly and arrange the segments in different sequences to meet different needs of each spa. This example is an abbreviated version.

Trigger Trakker

Intended as an intro movie, this short segment was also tuned into a DVD and used at several conventions. The opening segment utilizes a series of actions scripts to create spinning motions as well as a random placement of the squares. Each time the movie loops a different pattern appears. The client felt that this solution best represented the underlying concept of this medical software.

To tell the story I used the concept of a :30 spot, which begins in an abstract presentation then leads to the construction of the logo, and then to the statement, “Hofmann, that’s one F and two Ns.” It concludes with a playful use of typography, all set to the music of Enoch Light .

clocks

These clocks are built with action scripts. The first was made to mimic an antique from the 17th century. The second makes use of the circular photos by Michael Lascarides.

g.i. joe psa game

To understand the meaning behind the game you'll need to view the PSA actual videos first. Brought to my attention through various friends, these “augmented” videos by Eric Fensler struck a humorous chord with me. I decided to make a board game that highlighted a few sound bites, which you can trigger along with various songs
